Hello and Welcome to Hello Trail®! We’re Andrew and Ashley and we are excited to have you here and even more excited that you probably love the outdoors as much as we do!

Ashley grew up in the Southeast and besides a random trip to West Virginia or Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, that was the extent of her outdoor adventures until I (Andrew) came along. All it took was one trip to Breckenridge, CO and she was hooked on the mountains and all the trails that came along.

I grew up mostly in the farmlands of the Midwest and took childhood vacations to the Rocky and Smoky Mountains. My enjoyment of nature runs through my veins! I feel most at home when I’m hiking a trail and the only sounds I hears are the nearby stream and birds flying through the trees.

If any of that sounds like you, then you are in the right place!

We have lived in Colorado several times – we have trouble planting roots – and know what it takes to make every minute in nature as memorable as possible.

Our goal is to provide you with the best information about hiking clothes and gear, some of the best hiking trails you can find – and some that hard to find – and any other tips and tricks we can think of that you will benefit from on your next trail adventure.

We have been interviewed and featured in some of the top online publications like BestLife, SELF Magazine, and Well+Good.

Plus Ashley and I are very happy to have Hello Trail become a community partner of the outstanding outdoors non-profit – Leave No Trace. We want to leave nature as we found it and the 7 Leave No Trace principles are the basis of good hiking etiquette!

We really thrive on helping other people such as yourself get as much enjoyment as possible from your adventures. Whether it’s figuring out the right boots to buy, an easy day hike in the foothills of Denver or what you need to get started hiking in the first place – that’s EXACTLY why we started HelloTrail!

Thank YOU for being part of the HelloTrail community! Don’t be shy and feel free to send us a message with any questions you have or even to share you own hiking adventures.
